Lt. John Zamberlin

Lieutenant John A. Zamberlin has been employed by the Anderson Police Department since March of 1987. Officer Zamberlin arrived at the Anderson Police Department after employment by the South Carolina Department of Corrections. He served in the Patrol Division for 9 years where he became involved and volunteered many hours to the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program, "DARE". Lieutenant Zamberlin received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant in April of 1995 and was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division. Sergeant Zamberlin in the following years conducted criminal investigations related to economic crimes, property crimes, and violent crimes. Lieutenant Zamberlin, along with other education has received advanced training homicide investigations, child abuse investigations, psychological profiling, crime scene assessment and interview and interrogation. Sergeant Zamberlin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in December of 2007 and remained within the Criminal Investigations Division. Lieutenant Zamberlin is involved in the daily management of the Criminal Investigations Division consisting of investigations, crime scene investigations, computer forensics, property/ evidence and the victims advocate program. In addition Lieutenant Zamberlin performs administrative duties, case management and communications with the 10th Circuit Solicitors Office.
