Lieutenant Kevin Warren

Lieutenant Kevin Warren started his career with Law Enforcement in 1992, with the Public Safety Department of Patrick B. Harris. Lieutenant Warren is also a 1992 graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. In 1995, Lt. Warren continued his career with the Anderson City Police Department, where he was apart of the Patrol Division for a short period of time. Lt. Warren transferred to the Traffic Division, where he served 12 years. While serving in the Traffic Division, Lt. Warren was awarded the Kiwanis Police Officer of the Year Award for Outstanding and Dedicated Services and received Motorcycle Certification through SCHP. In 2007, Lt. Warren transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division as the Evidence Custodian. Later on in 2009, Lt. Warren progressed to the Crime Scene Forensics Division as a Crime Scene Technician, where he received extensive training in: Death and Homicide Investigations, Blood Stain and Pattern Analysis, and Forensic Mapping. Lt. Warren currently holds certification in Fingerprint Recognition & Comparison and Marijuana Analysis. During Lt. Warren’s tenure as Crime Scene Forensic Technician, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. In September 2011, Lt. Warren was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, where he currently supervises fifteen employees within Investigations, Crime Scene, Computer Forensics, Evidence, and Victim Advocates.
