Anderson Police Department under the direction of Chief Martin D. Brown created the position of Public Information Officer in March of 2006. Randall Williams is the sole point of contact for all outlets of the media.
The Public Information function of the Anderson Police Department is the responsibility of the Public Information Officer. Press Releases from the Anderson Police Department will occur on an as needed basis. All prepared releases will come from the Office of the Chief of Police and will be released by the Public Information Officer.
