Lieutenant Allen Hammond

Allen Hammond began his law enforcement career 23 years ago and has served 17 of those years at the Anderson Police Department. Over the years, he has worked in the Patrol Division for 9 years, and then volunteered for the Bicycle/Community Patrol for 8 years. Hammond helped coordinate the training division for 2 years, while working in Community Patrol. In 1984, Hammond was promoted to Sergeant. Sgt. Hammond was assigned as School Resource Officer and worked as a desk Sergeant for a year. Hammond was promoted to Lieutenant in 2008 and served as a shift coordinator for a year. Lieutenant Hammond is currently working with the Reserve Officers and is senior Lieutenant in the Patrol Division coordinating special event duties.
