Officer Jasmine Deluna received a Crimestoppers Award in April, 2013, for her role in capturing a suspect. Officer Deluna pursued on foot, apprehended and arrested a man suspected of stealing and wrecking a car. The command staff of the Anderson Police Department nominated Officer Deluna for the Crime Stopper Award from Crime Stoppers of Anderson County for her actions, which led to the clearance of approximately 45 vehicle break-in cases within the city/county metro area of Anderson.
